The PFNA nail has a Medial-Lateral Angle of 6°, which allows precise insertion at the tip of the greater trochanter.
The PFNA blade screw offers higher cut-out resistance than standard screws. Its 130° angle with the nail provides superior ergonomics and anchoring in cancellous bone.
Inserting the PFNA blade compacts the cancellous bone, providing additional anchoring which is especially critical in osteoporotic bone.
Features both static and dynamic locking via the aiming arm. Long nails also support secondary dynamization for optimal healing.
